Every potential SEO client wants their website to rank first for all major search engines but they don’t realize that ranking is not having guarantee for any search engines. There will be number competitors ranking for same keyword but yes, you don’t want to be ranked at 40th position that’s true because no one will found you.
Instead of focusing on ranking, focus on visitor growth and conversions
Number one ranking is only valuable when it generates more traffic and visitors for your website.
Example: Suppose you are ranking for keyword which is having very low search volume then it will be of no use because very less visitors will come for your website but instead of that if you rank for keyword which is having high search volume then more visitors will visit your website.
