Last time we saw how to add page element to blogger header. Now this time I’m going to discuss how to add background image and provide link in blogger header.
Now you must be in question why there is need to add link in blogger header? Am I Right?
Simple answer we would like to have clickable blogger header so that anybody clicking on it will be brought to your Blog’s home page.
Procedure for Adding background image in blogger header
- First there is need to have page element/ Add a gadget in blogger header which we have seen in last article. If you don’t know then follow this article Add Page element to blogger Header. After performing this you will see your blog like this
- Then click on add a gadget -> select Html.
- Paste this following code

Explanation:
1) Insert your blog URL into the portion which is marked as red.
2) Insert the picture URL / blogger header image in the portion which is mark as blue.
3) Now the one which is mark as orange plays very important role. Title means when u put your browser in the Tile then it will show you the Title of your image.
4) Alt is very important for search engine spiders for ranking algorithms.
Now if you want picture to the left side of header then put the following code
